Event details

Nottingham Trent University (NTU) are hosting the NTU Sustainability Summit 2023 as part of our reflections of COP27 which took place last November. The conference is open to students and sabbatical elected officers of NTU. As part of the event, Head of Sustainability Charmaine Morrell and various professional and academic staff will be discussing topics included in the UN's Climate Change Conference COP27.

The day will include key-note speakers and themed workshops on topics such as the climate emergency, biodiversity and sustainable shopping. There will also be a panel consisting of local organisation representatives who will give insight into their work towards sustainability across Nottingham.

The conference will enable students to share ideas and discuss practical ways to effect change and take action at their universities and organisations. Attendees will learn about COP27s importance and initiatives in the local area and beyond, whilst focusing on the practical actions we can take for “people and the planet”

A vegan lunch will be provided during the day to attendees. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements.
