Event details
This session will feature a brief talk by John Grant, senior lecturer in sustainable construction and climate change at Sheffield Hallam University on the climate emergency, key dynamics, and the like. The talk will be followed by an interactive session wherein workshop delegates will discuss in groups how to collectively tackle the climate crisis. This session will be led by Tracy Neale and David Eminson from Extinction Rebellion – Nottingham. The aim of this event is to explore ways in which different stakeholders might get involved in order to collectively address the climate emergency. Attendees can also expect to learn about climate change more generally and the role of activism as a mediator. This session would be of interest to any students and/or staff with an interest in this significant contemporary issue.
