As a gesture of solidarity, the Women’s Staff Network invite all colleagues and students to join us in a flash mob event on International Women’s Day. We’re asking our female colleagues, our allies and our student body to join in striking the #EmbraceEquity pose to mark this year’s theme.

Embracing equity is something we can all be a part of. It isn’t just what we say or what we write about – it’s something we need to think, know and embrace.

It is about believing in and creating an inclusive world for all, and we can all play a part as we embrace equity.

Establishing gender equity isn’t limited to women. Everyone is incredibly important for the social, economic, cultural and political advancement of women. We can all be a part of positive change.

Embracing gender equity is the right thing to do, so let’s give equity a huge hug from NTU!
