Event details

Over decades the relationship between the police and minoritised communities in the UK has been one of mistrust and dissatisfaction. Several high-profile incidents and numerous reports repeatedly show that more needs to be done to regain the trust in policing by these communities.

Nottingham is seeking to address this by having some Community & Police Conversations built on leadership engagement between faith leaders from the Black Majority churches and Senior Police Officers.

This session invites a space for students, community and police across Nottingham to engage to build greater trust and confidence. The session will include speakers from the community, the police and facilitated workshops.
