Event details
The Computing and Informatics Research Centre (CIRC) is dedicated to "Enabling Digital Technology" through high-quality interdisciplinary work in advanced computer science topics. With strong links to both academia and industry, the CIRC is proud to present the first edition of the CIRC Research Showcase. This unique opportunity highlights the great work of CIRC members and their contributions to the field of digital technology. Through this showcase, the CIRC aims to demonstrate the breadth and diversity of research taking place within the centre and to inspire future collaborations.

The prestigious symposium is a platform to showcase the research being conducted by Researchers, PGRs, ECRs, and Research Groups.

Poster Guidelines
All poster presenters are kindly requested to adhere to the poster guidelines provided by the NTU Doctoral School. These guidelines serve as a framework for creating and presenting posters at the event. By following these guidelines, presenters can ensure that their posters are visually appealing, well-structured, and effectively communicate their research findings. It is encouraged that presenters carefully review and implement the guidelines to enhance the overall quality and impact of their posters.

By using this template, presenters can ensure that their slides are aligned with the university's guidelines and present a cohesive and professional appearance. The template provides a standardised format that facilitates clear communication of research findings and maintains visual harmony throughout the presentation. Presenters are encouraged to request the Department of Computer Science PowerPoint template from the event contact mentioned below to ensure their presentations meet the established NTU standards.

Using sensors and machine learning to detect engagement and predict emotional dysregulation events in children with ASD

The CIRC in cooperation with Prof Philip Breedon and the University of Nottingham proudly hosts the second edition of the RoboNottingham. This year’s edition the focus will be on Medical, Underwater, Social, Farming and Forestry robotics.
