Event details

We have been researching existing projects and imagining new ways of working as part of a ‘Universities for Nottingham Co(l)Laboratory' project. Some ideas so far have included developing pop up exhibitions for community events, school projects and online resources.

We are keen to develop an action plan (and have some funding) to support schools and communities to celebrate the linguistic diversity of the region, now and in the future. At this event we will be discussing the work we have already done and working with local groups and partners to examine the best ways to move forward.

Parking:

If you’re travelling to Nottingham by car, we recommend you use the city’s park and ride services and continue your journey by tram, as parking in the centre can quickly become expensive. We recommend that you use one of the following sites and board any tram serving Toton Lane or Clifton South:

  • The Forest (NG7 6AQ)
  • Phoenix Park (NG8 6AS)
  • Toton Lane (NG9 7JA)

Make sure you buy a ticket before you board the tram to avoid penalty fares and alight at the Nottingham Trent University stop. Visit the Nottingham Express Transit (NET) site for more information on the city’s park and ride services.

If you’re intending to park in the city centre, the closest and largest facilities to our City Campus are:

  • Trinity Square (NG1 4BT)
  • Talbot Street (NG1 5GG)
