New team will make working with you even easier

A new team has been created at Nottingham Trent University to help local businesses benefit from the University's expertise.

The Business Development Team has been recruited as part of the working with you... programme, a £1.9m scheme to generate collaboration work between NTU and small and medium businesses in the East Midlands. Through this project, dedicated business support co-ordinators work with companies to help identify their needs and offer funded consultancy, advice, workshops, access to facilities and opportunities for student and graduate placements. The programme is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

Universities are very large organisations and it can be difficult to know who to talk to, so we have created this dedicated team.

Dr Jeremy Hague

Dr Jeremy Hague, Head of Business Development said: "We recognise that universities are very large organisations and it can be difficult to know who to talk to, so we have created this dedicated team who will deal with businesses. Businesses come to universities because we have got academic expertise, specialist facilities and collaborative research. We can help businesses to up-skill their workforce and help them to access new talent in the form of students to work on projects or placements, or employing graduates."
