Opening the door to business

Nottingham Trent University is to hold an event designed to highlight the huge variety of business and professional services on offer.

It's a great opportunity to see some of the practical ways we can help boost any business.

Nottingham Trent University is to hold a Showcase event to highlight the huge variety of business and professional services on offer as part of a drive to make it easier for businesses to access the University's knowledge and facilities.

The Business Development Team will be on hand to help identify the business needs of organisations and offer support and advice. There will also be the chance to talk to academic and technical staff, many of whom work with industry.

Other areas will include a student and graduate recruitment fair, an exhibition from NTU's sustainability project Future Factory, and guided tours of NTU's Virtual Reality Lab, 3D printing equipment and award-winning conference facilities.

Dr Jeremy Hague, Head of Business Development, said: "We're very keen for business people and professionals of all backgrounds to come along to our university-wide business showcase. It's a great opportunity to see some of the practical ways we can help boost any business."
