Fitness Classes Success in Term Two

NTU Sport Fitness classes have had some fantastic results in Term Two – with over 1,800 members attending the classes across our City and Clifton sites. The great figures were due, in part, to the addition of some brand new classes for Term Two, namely Tai Chi and Samba Fitness. These two classes in particular were a huge hit with students and staff, attracting high numbers weekly, and anyone who attended these classes will be happy to know that they’re being kept on the timetable for Term Three.

What are we bringing you in Term Three?

To try and improve our fitness class offer even further NTU Sport have been working extra hard to bring you an even better timetable for Term Three. The new fitness class timetable is now available to view online. You’ll see some brand new classes on the timetable such as the Outdoor Summer Boot Camp classes. Printed timetables can be picked up at both NTU Sports Centre receptions – so don’t forget to pick your Term Three timetable up today!

Summer Boot Camp

Times: 6 – 7 pm on Mondays and 1 – 2 pm on Wednesdays

Location: Outdoors at Clifton campus (meeting point is at Lee Westwood reception)

This class is sure to get you ready for summer – each one hour session is a high intensity workout, which could help you burn off up to 750 calories! Boot camp will be delivered outdoors (we're sure it will stay sunny!) and will include exercises to enhance agility, speed, power, strength, and quickness. Not only is this class a fantastic all over body workout, it's also great way to have some fun and relieve stress during the busy Term Three period!

Did you know that over 50% of fitness class bookings are now being made online, reducing the frustration of telephoning or waiting at the sports centres receptions at busy times? If you're a sport and fitness member you can benefit from this as well.

Logging into our online bookings system is simple, you can do so by using your NTU email address and PIN. This will have been sent to you in an email, if not you can ask for this at one of the receptions or select the 'forgotten my PIN' option when logging in and it will be emailed to you.
