The Young Thai IP Law Ambassador initiative aims to raise awareness of the legal and cultural issues around Intellectual Property (IP) amongst the younger generation

The Young Thai IP Law Ambassador initiative aims to raise awareness of the legal and cultural issues around Intellectual Property (IP) amongst the younger generation, as well as to create an informal network for those university students with a strong interest in IP issues.

In addition to a trophy from the Supreme Court, the winning team of two Young Thai IP Law Ambassadors take a two-week, all-expenses-paid trip to the UK to visit and participate in various activities at leading intellectual property establishments, including judicial and academic bodies, top private law firms, and creative establishments where ideas are developed. While in the UK, both ambassadors will also join an attachment programme at a leading law firm.

As part of their prize, the winners of the 2013 award, Paramee Kerativitayanan and Napasa Cheydet visited Nottingham Law School where they met with key academic staff and students.
