Congratulations to Dion Chambers, a full-time LPC student at Nottingham Law School, who completed the 41st Berlin Marathon in Germany on 28 September 2014. Dion recorded a time of 3 hours, 13 minutes and 56 seconds on his first try at the 26.2miles/42km distance – a fantastic achievement!

The Berlin Marathon was established in 1974 and has a rich history as one of the most popular road races in the world, with more than 56,000 participants from 130 nations competing this year alone. The course also holds the world record for the fastest completed marathon.

Dion has managed to raise over £400 for his chosen charity, the British Association for Adoption and Fostering, in the process; with further sponsorship coming from his part-time employer in coming weeks. Dion will also be continuing to raise money through his fundraising site until the end of the year.
