NBS postgraduate prize giving ceremony 2014

A number of the Nottingham Business Schools postgraduate students have recently been rewarded for their hard work at the School's Postgraduate Prize Giving Ceremony.

A number of the Nottingham Business School's postgraduate students have recently been rewarded for their hard work at the School's postgraduate prize giving ceremony. The ceremony was supported by multiple well-known organisations, rewarding the individual students with course-related prizes.

The ceremony took place on Saturday 29 November 2014 and the winning students were invited to attend the ceremony in order to collect their prize and celebrate their success with friends and family.

Organisations sponsoring prizes included E.ON, The Chartered Management Institute, Blackwells Bookshop and 3M Marketing. The postgraduate students, ranging from a number of courses within the Nottingham Business School, were rewarded for their overall performance and innovation.

The ceremony is held each year to recognise the students exceptional hard work and dedication during their time at Nottingham Trent University.

Alex Hiller, Head of Postgraduate Courses at Nottingham Business School, said: "Recognising student success is very important to us, and we are very grateful to 3M, E-ON, the CMI and Blackwells University Bookshop for sponsoring these prizes for outstanding student performance. It was fantastic to be able to celebrate with the students and their families on the day, and we look forward to hearing about their future achievements."

The prizes given at the Nottingham Business School prize giving ceremony 2014 were awarded to the following students:

William McMeeking
The 3M Marketing Innovation Award for best performance on the MSc Marketing course

Hannah Eaton
The E.ON Award for best performance on the MSc Marketing (Advertising and Communications) course

Andrew Bingham
The Chartered Management Institute Prize for best overall performance by a MSc Management student

Rosalyn Edmonds
The Blackwells University Bookshop Prize for best overall performance by a MSc Human Resource Management student.
