MFA students present an exhibition of work at Nottingham Contemporary

Our MFA Fine Art students are set to present 'Parallel', an exhibition of their work at Nottingham Contemporary. This group show is in response to Contemporary's recent show 'Rights of Nature'.

Our MFA Fine Art students are set to present Parallel , an exhibition of their work at Nottingham Contemporary. This group show is in response to Contemporary's recent show Rights of Nature .

Parallel will feature work from seven students who are studying their master's at NTU. They are: Joana Quintas; Jiang Yajie - Sophie; David Corbett; Shen Chia-Ying - Lisa; Richard Emslie; Chen Yi-Yang - Ellen; and Anita Fanandriana.

All the artists come from different parts of the world including Taiwan, China, La Reunion, Brazil and the UK, and their individual cultural backgrounds have influenced their work. Parallel will include painting, video, installation and sculpture.

Parallel will launch with a private view at Nottingham Contemporary on Friday 20 March 2015, from 5.30 pm - 7.30 pm. The exhibition will be open to the public on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 March 2015.
