Nottingham Business School's Certificate in Human Resource Practice programme had been awarded by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) which is aimed at individuals seeking to develop a career within the HR profession. The programme is evaluated on an ongoing basis by a CIPD appointed external verifier who checks that the internal quality assurance systems and processes meet CIPD standards.
The latest external verifier visit resulted in Nottingham Business School being awarded a high confidence rating for each of the five key indicators, as well as the overall banding for the programme. It was also observed that 'the University has robust assessment and internal verification practices in place with an experienced team delivering the programme to candidates'.
This indicates that the CIPD is very confident that there is no risk to the integrity of the qualification or the CIPD brand. This very positive outcome is due to the commitment of the teaching team, which includes Pam Stevens, James Leinster, Anne Sempik, Derek Watling, Alan Toft, Hazel Williams, Konstantina Kougiannou, Bernadette Downs, Course Administrator Vanessa Harrison and Internal Verifier Anne Cockayne.
