MSc Marketing students visit Manchester United Football Club

Nottingham Business School's MSc Marketing and MSc Management and Marketing students were given the opportunity to visit Manchester United FC's Old Trafford stadium.

During the Nottingham Business School's MSc International Professors' Week, current MSc Marketing and MSc Management and Marketing students had the opportunity to visit Manchester United FC's Old Trafford stadium. The aim of the trip was more than just a fun day out to see the world famous English Premiership team's historic ground, but also to provide the students with an opportunity to learn more about one of the most profitable football clubs in the world.

During the visit, Manchester United's Education Manager provided a very insightful talk on the marketing, PR and media activity of the club. The students then enjoyed a stadium tour and a museum visit.

Last year students on this programme were given the opportunity to visit Nottingham-born fashion designer Paul Smith's exhibition at the Design Museum in London. During that visit the students were also fortunate enough to bump in to the world-renowned designer himself.
