NTU Music are delighted to announce and congratulate two recent graduates whom have been awarded a diploma in Musical Theatre Performance by the London College of Music. Both Hannah Locke and Lauren Garrill graduated from their degrees at Nottingham Trent University in July and were thrilled to hear of their diploma success just a week after their graduation. Lauren stated "I'm so proud to have achieved a goal that I set out for at the beginning of my time at NTU, and with the opportunities I have been given with the choirs and my singing lessons with Matthew, I have managed to reach it!"

Hannah and Lauren have been no strangers to NTU music throughout the course of their degrees over the last four years, as both have been active members of the NTU Choir and Chamber Choir. The girls have often been selected for solo performances during NTU Music concerts and have shared success and recognition for their performances during the annual vocal competitions held at the University each year.

Both graduates were taught by Director of Music, Matthew Hopkins at the University's Music Centre each week. Hannah expressed her gratitude stating "I'm so grateful to Matthew and NTU for providing me with the opportunity to continue the hobby I'm so passionate about throughout the course of my degree."

We would like to wish both Hannah and Lauren the best of luck as graduates and urge them to keep in touch as their careers and interest in music progress over the foreseeable future.
