The Live Lecture series is a changing programme of term-time talks presented by the BA (Hons) Fine Art course at Nottingham Trent University. The talks are given by a wide range of different arts practitioners with a public profile in their field, and form part of the teaching timetable for enrolled students. They are also open to the public.

The artists are invited to talk freely about the context of their practice as a way for students to gain insight into the experience of practitioners in their very broad field of study. The opinions expressed in the talks are therefore not necessarily those of Nottingham Trent University, but are presented as a diverse example of debates within contemporary art practice.

Confirmed forthcoming speakers are:

The talks take place in the Newton building, Lecture Theatre 2, from 5.15 pm. Keep up to date with information about the Live Lectures on the Fine Art Live Facebook page.
