NTU Music hosts first lunchtime concert of the year

NTU Music hosted its first lunchtime concert of the academic year, showcasing the talents of students at NTU.

On Wednesday 21 October NTU Music hosted its first lunchtime concert of the academic year. Over 40 people came along to enjoy the concert, which was held in the ensemble room at the NTU Music Centre.

First to perform was Ella Josey who sang one of her favourite songs, Pulled, from the Addams Family Musical. Ella was followed by pianist Phoebe Neal who played, Prelude in D Flat Major, Chopin. Broadcasting and Journalism student, Cameron Walker, was next up, with a performance of If I Can’t Love Her, from Beauty in the Beast. It was a particularly special performance for Cameron as it was also his 19th birthday! Singer / songwriter, Tyler Bridgewater concluded the concert with a touching performance of a song he had written himself.

Lunchtime concerts are free to attend, usually beginning at 1 pm and lasting 30 minutes. The next concert will take place on Wednesday 4 November at the Music Centre, showcasing yet more musical talent from NTU staff and students.
