Insanity joins the 2016 programme

Fitness classes at NTU during Term Two include all the favourites - and a few new appearances.

Fitness classes at NTU during Term Two include all the favourites and a few new appearances. Starting Monday 11 January, the new timetable will see the introduction of a brand new class, known as Insanity, that has been hitting the headlines over the past few years.

We offer a wide variety of fitness classes to help you stay active, while balancing a busy lifestyle of work and social time.
Mild exercise, such as yoga or a core workout, can release endorphins, which are the hormones that give you that post-exercise feel-good factor.

More vigorous exercise, such as zumba or spin, can help with managing your weight, using up calories that would otherwise be stored as fat.

Our brand new class Insanity comes to NTU with the addition of a new instructor, Emma. Every Wednesday and Thursday Emma will lead you through a series of exercises aimed at targeting those difficult areas of the body. Insanity has grown in popularity over the past few years due to quick and recognisable results. So why not try it out and see if Insanity is the way forward in 2016?

Feedback during 2015 indicated that more classes were needed, especially in the cardio department. We have therefore added more spin classes, taking the class total to over 50 per week. With such a vast programme there will be plenty on offer for you to find something that fits both your schedule and exercise style.
