The Centre for Business and Insolvency Law is playing host for a return visit in January 2016 by Anto Kasak, Lecturer in Insolvency Law at the University of Tartu and partner in his own law firm in Tallinn. While on this second visit to the Centre, Anto will continue researching into the English law position for the doctoral project which he is pursuing at the University of Tartu. His research covers the position of security rights holders in insolvency, which has real relevance for creditors benefiting from security over their debtor's property but who may be uncertain as to whether enforcement at the debtor's insolvency is possible. While in Nottingham, Anto will also be meeting with other members of the Centre for discussions on insolvency law research and teaching.
