Performance Analysis Opportunities with NTU Sport

New opportunities for NTU Students to gain experience in Performance Analysis through NTU Sport.

NTU Sport are offering students a number of Performance Analysis opportunities as part of their growing performance programme.

These roles will allow NTU students to support performance teams in six sports: men’s football, men’s rugby, men’s hockey, men’s lacrosse, women’s football, and women’s hockey. Alongside your studies, you will work as a fully integrated member of the department, providing you with valuable skills and experiences to assist with future opportunities.

Students will be required to be available for the following:

  • analysis training and familiarisation during September (dates to be agreed with the individual
  • Wednesday afternoon fixtures (both home and away)
  • fixture anaylsis on either Wednesday evening or at some point during Thursday, to give the coaches the data to share either late Thursday or for Friday training sessions.

Further opportunities may also exist to work within some of our partner organisations and teams, and to provide more in-depth support to coaches and athletes within our own University programmes, both in the sport you are placed in and in more specialist areas.

NTU Sport welcome interest from all students across the University, whichever course you are studying. This could be particularly beneficial for those studying for sport-related degrees, as you will be able to use any data you have collected as part of dissertation projects.

There are six of these exciting dissertation opportunities available. We will provide you with full training, departmental clothing, expenses cover, and excellent links into professional and elite sport – useful if you are looking to grow your career beyond our programmes.
