The client-interviewing competition is an internal Law School competition open to Years 2 and 3 on the LLB at Nottingham Law School.

The client-interviewing competition is an internal Law School competition open to Years Two and Three of the LLB.

The competition is ran by the Law School tutors to give you the experience of meeting and interviewing clients in order to provide legal and practical solutions to their problems.

Taking part in the competition can enhance your future employability and improve your confidence in public speaking and problem solving.

Applications are open from Monday 26 September 2016.

The competition is an activity for pairs / teams of students who engage in the role of solicitors conducting an initial interview with a client about a hypothetical legal problem.

What is involved?

The competition consists of a two-hour training workshop and four rounds.

The various rounds of the competition will take place on Wednesday afternoons in weeks 10-15 inclusive.

The Final will take place on Wednesday 9 November 2016.

Who can take part?

The competition is open to Nottingham Law School Year Two and Three LLB students. Numbers are limited to 24 students (12 pairs).

Client interviewing is an activity for pairs / teams of students, so try and find a partner. If you are unable to, please indicate this and we will try and pair you up with another student, although we cannot guarantee this.

Applications are open from Monday 26 September until 5 pm on Monday 10 October 2016. Applications received outside these times will not be accepted.
Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
