Nottingham Business School open up doors for DBA students

Nottingham Business School receives EIASM and EDBAC membership

We are delighted to announce that Nottingham Business School has been accepted as members of the Academic Council of the European Institute for Advanced Studies in Management (EIASM) and members of the Executive Doctorate in Business Administration Council (EDBAC).

As part of EIASM’s Doctoral Education Network (EDEN), NTU will benefit from closer ties with other institutions enabling an exchange of information about current issues in management research and doctoral education.

Members of the EIASM Academic Council consist of over 70 universities, business schools and research institutes all of which represent 20 European countries. EIASM's mission is to enhance high quality in research and doctoral studies in management and related disciplines.

Other benefits of membership include access to a large network of management researchers and access for doctoral students to events run by EIASM. Doctoral students will also have the opportunity to influence policy decisions pertaining to the quality standards relating to doctoral provision.

The EDBAC fosters excellence and innovation in executive doctoral degree programmes worldwide. Members include distinguished universities and company directors. The EDBAC is the only organisation globally that focuses on executive doctoral degree programs and the issues they face. The Council’s mission is to help business schools to improve the quality of their provision through information exchange and networking and by facilitating the professional development of individuals responsible for doctoral degree programmes.

The EDBAC aims to provide NTU with outstanding networking and educational opportunities. The council will serve as a primary point of contact and information for our program directors, students and alumni.

Our DBA course aims to have a wider impact and real-world influence, enabling you to make an important contribution to society, culture and business.
