The School of Art & Design at NTU has one of the largest and most dynamic postgraduate communities in the UK.

Mastered, the 2017 exhibition of Masters work located in the Bonington building, will feature design and innovation from 30 different countries, demonstrating a total of 170 individual creative journeys and experiences in subject areas spanning visual arts, photography, visual communication, fashion, textiles and knitwear design, as well as fashion marketing, culture and communication.

This year, visitors to the Mastered exhibition are being offered the chance of winning a limited edition signed copy of publication Too Many Chiefs Only One Indian donated to the School of Art & Design by its author, the acclaimed Nottingham-based Michelin Star restaurateur Sat Bains. Sat is a passionate supporter of creativity in Nottingham and holds an honorary Doctor of Arts (Hon DArts) in recognition of his achievements.

The award-winning book, a beautiful design object in its own right, is an autobiographical exploration of recipes, philosophies and the thought processes that shape Sat’s approach to food.

A team of NTU Art & Design representatives will select the winner, looking for the post which is the most creative and original. The winner will be notified via social media on Monday 31 July 2017. The competition is open to all visitors to the Mastered exhibition.

The competition will run from the Preview on Tuesday 18 July from 5 pm, until the exhibition closes on Thursday 27 July at 5 pm. Take a look at the competition terms and conditions for full details.
