Having recently opened a new office in Nottingham Business Park, Morgan Sindall's partnership with NTU provides access to bright minds and fresh ideas, from a University that boasts 96% of graduates employed or engaged in further study six months after leaving. In turn, NTU students will have access to placements and wider work experience opportunities with a company renowned for developing a talented and future-fit workforce.

Under the new partnership, Morgan Sindall and NTU will also explore collaborative opportunities that will generate mutual benefits that support strategic ambitions across teaching and learning, work experience, employment and business development.

Morgan Sindall will also have access to University equipment and facilities to support developments in innovative approaches and new techniques that lead to advancements for the construction sector.

As well as this, they will help prepare NTU students for employment in the construction sector by providing placement opportunities, offering a practical view of the industry through showcase lectures and giving access to business challenges that inform student projects.

Sean Bowles, Managing Director of Morgan Sindall in the Midlands, and alumnus of NTU, said: "Developing a future-fit workforce and pioneering innovative approaches to the design and construction of our built environment are two areas key to Morgan Sindall.

"As a graduate of the University, I have first-hand experience of the excellent teaching on offer to students. It also makes signing this statement of intent particularly gratifying, and I look forward to the partnership developing over the coming years.

"Our business will undoubtedly benefit from the bright ideas and enthusiasm of everyone studying here. In turn, I hope that we can convey the strength and breadth of career opportunities available within our industry, both here in the Midlands and throughout the UK."

Professor Edward Peck, Vice-Chancellor of Nottingham Trent University, said "Morgan Sindall and NTU enjoy a strong relationship that continues to address talent needs of Morgan Sindall and helps to keep NTU's academic provisions aligned to the requirements of the construction sector.

"This partnership agreement signifies the value of the relationship, and intention to explore new ways to support the strategic priorities of both organisations, allowing for greater collaboration across four underpinning areas; Teaching and Learning, Work Experience and Employment, Research and Development, Business Planning and Strategic Alignment."
