Nottingham Business School ranked amongst the top 100 business schools internationally in the Financial Times Ranking for Masters in Management for the second year running.

Nottingham Business School ranked amongst the top 100 business schools internationally in the Financial Times Ranking for Masters in Management for the second year running.

The Financial Times Ranking for business schools is one of the most highly acknowledged and widely cited authority on quality and performance of institutions globally, so we are very pleased to be holding a position in the rankings. The rankings are based on a collection of data sourced from two surveys: one from participating universities and the other from alumni who have graduated from the university within the last three years. The ranking is in part based on how successful alumni have been in their careers, as reflected in the salary data.

The Business Schools position in the ranking is a clear demonstration of the high quality teaching and learning standards that are amongst some of the very best internationally. Liza Pybus, course leader for MSc Management programmes played a large part in achieving this ranking. Commenting on the process

“In order for our course to be considered for the FT ranking we had to supply a range of information about our staff and students and supply a mailing list of all students who graduated from our course in 2015 for the FT to independently survey.

It is a great achievement to be the only post 1992 UK University listed as a global top 100 Masters in Management course alongside just 19 other UK Business Schools including Imperial College Business School, City University: Cass, Warwick Business School and Durham University Business School.  I would like to thank the alumni who responded to the survey to help gather the information we needed and all the academic and administrative staff who work so hard on the course who have helped achieve this success.”

We are delighted and proud to be listed amongst the best Masters in Management (MiM) programmes in Europe. Our inclusion in this elite group is testament to the employability of our graduates, the quality and diversity of our staff and student body, and the opportunities available to MiM students. We look forward to rising up the ranking in the coming years as we further improve our profile
