What is your best sporting achievement? - Getting my first cap with England when we won the European Championships in March 2017.
How do you feel when you are competing in your chosen sport?
I feel like I am part of a big family, and I can go to push myself and be the best version of me while enjoying being around other girls that support me, and want to do the same.
Do you think it is important for women to be well represented in sport? (Why)
Women should definitely be represented well in sport because they are the role models for so many young girls.
We need more female role models to create dreams and aspirations for the younger generation to follow, it’s important that girls know that they are capable of doing anything they want to do.
What are the benefits sport and physical activity can offer to people?
Sport is so versatile and flexible that there is something for everyone, which means it allows people to enjoy a few hours a week making friends, keeping healthy and getting away from the normal working week.
Do you have a female role model that you most identify with and why?
My female role model is my past self. When I look back and see where I used to be and where I am today, it inspires me to keep progressing, knowing that I’ve done it before and can do it again. I think about what young me would think about me today.
