NTU fall to defeat against Cardiff.
NTU Men’s Rugby Union travelled to Cardiff with hopes of getting a win to keep them in touching distance of Loughborough and Cardiff. However, it was not to be as a strong Cardiff side took the victory.

As the BUCS Super Rugby, season enters the final stages of the season, NTU Rugby Union made the trip to Wales with the aim of securing a first win since November.
Coming in to the game after an away defeat to Durham, NTU knew they required a win to help move up the BUCS Super Rugby table. But, it was not to be for the men in pink, another defeat on the road confined the team to a loss. The final score: CAR 10-7 NTU.
After the game, the result keeps NTU tenth in the table.
NTU fought hard throughout the match to try to take something from the game. Unfortunately, for NTU Cardiff proved to be too strong for the team as they just edged the encounter to continue the home sides excellent record at home.
The game entered halftime with the scores at CAR 3 – 7 NTU.
Despite some excellent battling and dedication from NTU, they just couldn’t break down the Durham defence to score a second try. The final score when the whistle blew: CAR 10 – 7 NTU.
The team now return to training ahead of next weeks fixture against Northumbria.
