How to log onto NOW?

Nottingham Trent University Online Workspace (NOW) is the primary portal for all online learning.

To access NOW, first go to MyNTU and click the NOW tile on the front page. Enter your NTU username and password to log in.

If you need additional support, our Organisational Development Team offer a guided induction to NOW. You can access these sessions by contacting the Organisational Development Help Team.

How to record videos?

NTU’s online learning principles provides help with using pre-recorded videos for online module content.

Please be aware that all NTU-created videos must be uploaded to Panopto. Guidance is available to help with this.

How to engage with the flexible module development process?

If you are leading a module for the first time you will need to go through the flexible module development process.

Before you engage in this process you should discuss the approach to blended learning for your module with the Course Leader:

How to access additional resources?

The flexible learning website provides additional resources for delivering learning and teaching. This includes:

  • Additional features in NOW
  • SCALE-UP induction and delivery
  • Student engagement tools and tips
  • A range of tips and ideas for blended learning, such as effective facilitation of online learning

The Employability: Teaching Toolkit provides resources to help you embed employability within your curriculum.

How to get support?

The support section of the flexible learning website provides peer case studies, accounts from your Learning and Teaching Managers, and offers a route for all of the main queries about delivering learning and teaching.
