What past participants are saying about the course

Ben Williamson from Rebel Recruiters

Ben took the Sustainability and Inclusive Leadership course in 2021 citing a desire to increase his knowledge about sustainability and become more of an advocate for change. He says:

“Sustainability has been a growing interest for me over the past three or four years. I’ve been trying to make small changes to my personal life that limits my carbon footprint and negative impact on the world, and I made the decision to apply this to my professional life.

“I think that a lot of people just don’t have the awareness that’s needed to tackle the problem at scale, so being armed with some facts, ideas for engagement, methods of overcoming objections, and ultimately the confidence to challenge misinformation or misguided opinions is really helpful."

Our sustainability courses are delivered through the ESF-funded Smart and Inclusive Leadership project. To find out more details about the courses available and upcoming dates, please visit the project page or contact us at esf@ntu.ac.uk.
