With students from over 150 countries across the globe enrolling on courses throughout our campuses, we have a large pool of international talent that could make a real impact on your business.

Equipped with language skills and knowledge of overseas business, our students possess intercultural awareness that enables them to identify new opportunities, build new contacts and achieve new commercial goals.

Our university has been awarded Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) Gold, an accolade given to institutions that consistently delivers outstanding teaching, learning and outcomes for their students. In addition, we were voted University of the Year in The Times Higher Education Awards 2017.

Your international student recruitment options

Employers have a number of options when looking to recruit international students.

These will fall under two main categories:

*  Recruiting Our International Students- EU and EEA

*  Recruiting Our Undergraduate International Students- Outside of the EU and EEA

According to guidance issued by the Department for Business, Innovation, and Skills, as long as students are registered on a valid sandwich degree, which includes a placement year, they do not require a work permit to be employed in the UK. However, students must hold a valid student Tier 4 visa for the duration of the placement.

Recruiting NTU international students

To give employers legal information relating to regulations and obligations on taking on talent from overseas, we have compiled a guide to Employing our International Students.

Devised in conjunction with Paragon Law, this guide provides information on taking on international students holding different visas, sponsorship arrangements and eligibility surrounding working hours.
