Support with researching and applying to university

Clifton Campus open day - Student Ambassadors VR

University is your next big step, where you’ll learn about so more than just your subject.

Our Student Recruitment and Outreach team are here to help you make the right decision for your future. The videos below will cover everything you need to support your journey from where you are now into higher education.

Researching your options

With all the different universities and courses out there, how do you know which ones to choose? We’re here to help – in this video workshop, Kathryn will help you explore your options. There are tasks involved, so make sure you set some time aside or make a note and complete them in your own time.

These are things that have helped Year 12s in the past and completing these tasks will help you to get the most out of your research and ensure that you find the right course and uni for you.

Visit our picking the right course and uni for you page for a list of questions to ask yourself when considering which university and course to apply to.

Virtual Open Days

The more universities you visit and the more questions you ask, the better informed your final choice will be. Open days are as much about choosing a new home for yourself as picking the right course – a little research goes a long way.

Of course, nothing beats seeing us in person but, because that may not be possible at this unusual time, we're hosting a series of Virtual Open Days to allow you to explore NTU from the comfort of your own home.
