You’re on the home stretch. The finish line’s in sight. We know how hard you’ve worked to reach this point, and we’re proud of you.

Our commitment’s the same now as it was when you started: we said we’d be here from your first day at NTU to the very last, and we meant it.

There’s a new world on the other side of graduation, and we’ll do everything we can to help you prepare for it. Maybe you’re a little nervous for what comes next. Hopefully, you’re excited about it. But however you’re feeling, we’ve got you covered. These support, advice and guidance resources have been put together with you in mind, and they’ll get you ready for the next step of your journey.

Supporting you with your mental health

As a University, we want to make lots of noise about mental health to help reduce any associated stigma, get more people talking about mental health and raise awareness of the fantastic help and support we have available.

Library support

The library offers lots of great services to assist you in your final year. From support with your dissertation to academic skills support, there are many ways the library can help you. Have a look at the library website to find out more about the help available.

Continuing with your studies

We’ve adopted a range of blended teaching and learning techniques to make sure you meet your learning goals. We will support you with online and face-to-face teaching to ensure you receive the best interactive NTU experience in your final year.

Employability

Access help and advice to prepare you for life after university. Get feedback on your CV, interview techniques, employer Q&A sessions and more . Plus, the Employability team are available via live chat, Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5 pm.

You may be looking to take the next steps in your professional journey, change direction completely, take an even deeper dive into your subject, or just to remain part of our incredible NTU community. If so, let us help you get there. We can also help you with funding and scholarships.

Celebrating your success is a highlight in our NTU calendar and we know just how important it is to you and those close to you. We’ll keep you updated as our Graduation plans develop for both the Class of 2020 and Class of 2021.

We want to make sure you have the best possible NTU experience in your final year, both on and off campus. So, whether you need advice about COVID tests, support with self-isolating, need to know what’s available to you on campus or want to keep up to date with the latest Government advice, we’re here for you.

Take time to relax

Your final year can be stressful, so it’s important that you take some time to relax and unwind. NTU Sport, the Global Lounge and Curated & Created all provide great opportunities to meet new people and try something new. Take a look at our events calendar and see how you can get involved.

Graduate Outcomes Survey

The Graduate Outcomes Survey is a national survey sent to all graduates 15 months after they finish a Higher Education course. It’s the biggest annual social survey in the UK and captures information about your experiences. We’re really keen to know more about your journey after NTU, the results also help inspire future NTU students.
