Are you ready to be part of a team that shapes how we support our students, Schools and the University in delivering a student-focused academic administration service within a challenging and varied working environment?
An exciting and unique opportunity exists for a proactive and passionate individual to join the Administration teams supporting the Schools of Business, Law and Social Sciences. As an Academic Administrator, you will be responsible for undertaking key academic administration activities in support of the student journey and to improve the student experience at NTU. You’ll be joining a forward-thinking team keen to hear your thoughts and turn your ideas into a reality.
Typically balancing the requirements of students, Schools and the University, you will be working collaboratively with a wide range of teams across the University, building and maintaining internal and external engagement relationships.
There will also be opportunities to work on projects aligned to the vision of our Schools, as well as in support of the delivery of NTU’s strategic ambition to become the University of the Future.
We are looking for a highly organised individual who has strong interpersonal communication skills and good attention to detail. Experience of working with a range of people would be advantageous, but is not essential. You will need to be able to work well in a team and get involved in all aspects of academic administration at NTU.
As part of this role you will also be joining NTU’s Graduate Development Programme, designed to provide you with an extensive range of development opportunities and lay the foundations to your future career. The programme is personalised and tailored to your skill set, to help you:
- improve your workplace skills
- develop your leadership skills
- build your confidence
- gain important employment experience.
Please refer to the job description and person specification attached to this page when completing your application to demonstrate how you meet the requirements for the role.
All shortlisted candidates will be invited to an assessment centre.
This is a Graduate Development Programme role available for a fixed term of 13 months. Applicants need to be current NTU students in their final year or have graduated from NTU within the last two years at the time of applying.
Applications for the year 2019/20 are now closed and will reopen in winter 2020.
