Travel and accommodation
You will find everything you need to get to NTU and if you need to stay in Nottingham during your graduation.
Getting to and around NTU's Clifton Campus
We would recommend planning travel to your graduation ceremony from Nottingham city centre using public transport, as there are a limited number of parking spaces available on the Clifton Campus. Further information regarding access and travel to Clifton Campus will be made available in late October.
Travelling to Nottingham
Nottingham is a city in the heart of England, with excellent transport connections to surrounding cities. Manchester, Cambridge, Leeds and London are all within two hours' travel, while Birmingham and Sheffield are less than 90 minutes away.
If you're coming to Nottingham from the north, south or west, use the M1 motorway. From here, there are three ways to reach the city centre:
- Leaving at Junction 24, follow the A453 / Remembrance Way. The University will be sign posted and you will pass our Clifton Campus on the way.
- Leaving at Junction 25, follow the A52 / Brian Clough Way
- Leaving at Junction 26, follow the A610
Park and Ride services are available on all three of those routes into Nottingham.
If you're travelling from the east, use the A52.
City centre parking
If you're intending to park in the city, the closest (and largest) facilities to our City Campus are:
