National Apprenticeship Week returns from 5 -11 February 2024 with a series of in-person and online events taking place at NTU and across the UK over the seven-day period.
The theme of this year's National Apprenticeship Week is 'Skills for Life' and celebrates the many ways that apprentices are having a positive impact in workplaces across the UK.

Apprenticeships Open Day
Date: Thursday 8 February 2024
Time: 1 - 4 pm
Location: Newton Building, City Campus
This event is for anyone looking to find out more about life as an apprentice at NTU.
During the Apprenticeships Open Day, you will have the opportunity to meet employers and current apprentices, as well as academics, course leaders, industry experts and more.
Featuring interactive sessions and live presentations, find out everything you need to know about apprenticeships including where to find an apprenticeship and how to apply.
Online Discovery event for Employers
Date: Tuesday 6 February 2024
Time: 12 - 1.30 pm
Location: MS Teams, Online
This online lunchtime event is designed to help employers thinking about taking on an apprentice to find out more information about NTU apprenticeships.
We'll outline the benefits of taking on apprentice and will share some of the reasons why we've been rated the #1 university for apprenticeships in the Midlands (RateMyApprenticeship 2023). Find out why hundreds of employers choose NTU as their training provider, and receive advice and guidance on our full range of courses.
Ask questions relating to individual courses in breakout rooms, take part in a Q and A session and meet our apprenticeships team.

The NTU Apprenticeship Awards 2024 take place on Wednesday 1 May.
We will reveal the nominees on Friday 9 February at 2 pm.
