Your voice has influenced change. Take a look at the improvements we've made on your campus as a result of your feedback.

  • We’ve increased the number of study spaces in Boots Library over the past year. Level 0 now provides 150 study spaces, 73 of which have PCs. New shelving also makes it easier to find books and gives a lighter, brighter feel to the area.
  • Over summer we refurbished two male and two female toilet blocks on Boots Library Floors 1 and 2. Next summer we’ll refurbish Floors 3 and 4.

Other improvements

  • We're creating some new office space on Goldsmith Street, which will also provide an exhibition space for students, as well as brand new services. It's hoped the building will be ready for use by October 2018.
  • We're converting the former Wesleyan Chapel on Shakespeare Street into a venue for graduation ceremonies and other prestigious events. There will also be a striking new space to be used as a music centre and dining area.
  • A honey bee hive has been placed on the roof of our Chaucer Building, which is within flying distance of many green spaces around the city.
