Your voice has influenced change. Take a look at the improvements we've made to your library as a result of your feedback.

  • We've introduced 52 new spaces for group and individual study at Brackenhurst Campus, including a new bookable group study room and two new group study booths. (This change was championed by Nottingham Trent Students’ Union, following feedback from student academic representatives.)
  • We’ve increased the number of study spaces in Boots library. Level 0 now provides 150 study spaces, 73 of which have PCs.
  • There is now postgraduate-only study space on the third floor of Boots library, with 100 individual and group study spaces. (This change was championed by Nottingham Trent Students’ Union, following feedback from student academic representatives.)
  • We extended our summer opening hours at Brackenhurst Campus to include evenings and Saturdays.
  • We've recruited an additional 13 student mentors to provide study support, including for maths and statistics.
  • Two new academic skills tutors are now available to support you with your studies, including maths and statistics.
  • We’ve made a greater range of eJournals and eBooks available from key publishers such as Wiley, MIT and JSTOR.  You can find  them on Library OneSearch.
  • Laptops are now available for 24 hour loan periods at Brackenhurst Library. (This change was championed by Nottingham Trent Students’ Union, following feedback from student academic representatives.)  (24 hour loan periods are also available at City Campus in the Newton building, and at Clifton in the Pavilion via the self-service units.)
  • We’ve started a programme of refurbishing the toilets in Boots Library. This year we have refurbished the toilets on Levels 1 and 2, next year we will refurbish Levels 3 and 4.
