What do I do if...

  • I know I'll be in Clearing

  • I'm a new applicant

Applications received after 30 June 2019 and before 20 September 2019 automatically enter Clearing.

    • If you haven’t already done so, complete your application on the UCAS website.
    • UCAS will send you a welcome letter and login details for UCAS Track.
    • Call our Clearing hotline to discuss your options on +44 (0)115 848 6000.
    • If we give you an offer, you can attach yourself to us through UCAS Track from 15 August 2019.
    • We will confirm offers as soon as possible, but please bear in mind that we'll be busy!
    • Our Admissions team will send you joining instructions by email.
    • You can then contact Accommodation and Student Finance.

If we make you an offer through Clearing, we recommend you come and see us at a Clearing drop-in event.

  • I haven't got the results I need

    I've already applied to NTU

    • If not, all is not lost. Call our Clearing hotline on +44 (0)115 848 6000 – we may be able to offer you an alternative course.

  • I did better than I was expecting

    Congratulations!

Adjustment allows you to reconsider where and what you have applied to study.

You may have previously ruled out certain courses or universities, based on the entry requirements. The Adjustment period is a chance to reapply to these courses, now that you know your exam results.

    • You'll see the option to register for Adjustment in your UCAS Track.
    • You have five days from results day – or whenever your first (firm) offer becomes unconditional – to take advantage of Adjustment.
    • Your firm offer is secure while you look at other options and will remain so unless you accept a new choice.
    • Call our Clearing hotline to discuss your options on +44 (0)115 848 6000.
    • If you verbally accept an offer, you will need to contact your firm choice and ask to be released.
    • Our Admissions team will add NTU to your UCAS application and then send you joining instructions by email.
    • You can then contact Accommodation and Student Finance.

If we make you an offer through Clearing or Adjustment, we recommend you come and see us at a Clearing drop-in event.

  • I've changed my mind

If you've changed your mind about your course or you want to defer a year, please contact our Clearing hotline to discuss your options on +44 (0)115 848 6000

  • I need to send you my results

You can submit your results quickly and easily by using our admission form.
