Applying through Adjustment

What is Adjustment?

Adjustment gives you the opportunity to reconsider where and what you have applied to study.

You may have previously ruled out certain courses or universities, based on the entry requirements. The Adjustment period is a chance to reapply to these courses, now that you know your exam results.

Am I eligible?

  • You are eligible for Adjustment if you've met and exceeded the conditions of your firm choice.
  • You'll see the option to register for Adjustment in your UCAS Track. It's entirely optional, however it gives you the option to contact other universities, while still keeping your unconditional firm (UF) choice safe.

How do I apply for a place through Adjustment?

The Adjustment period is available from A-level results day on 16 August 2018 until 31 August 2018.

Your individual Adjustment period starts on 16 August, or when your conditional firm (CF) choice changes to unconditional firm (UF), whichever is later.

From this time, you have a maximum of five calendar days (five 24-hour periods, including Saturdays and Sundays) to register in UCAS Track and secure an alternative course if this is what you decide you want to do.

What courses at NTU are available through Adjustment?

We welcome enquiries from students who have done better than expected and are considering their future options. You can view courses with vacancies on the UCAS website or you can contact our Clearing Hotline on +44 (0)115 848 6000.

Am I guaranteed accommodation if I choose NTU through Adjustment?
