Childhood at NTU
Our courses explore childhood from birth to 11 years and develop your understanding of holistic development, learning, education and children’s earliest experiences. There is also a strong focus on theory and policy, considering their influences on current practice and the lives of children.
You will also have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and apply the ideas explored on the courses when you take part in placements and volunteering opportunities, in a variety of UK or international settings.
These degrees open the door to a variety of careers with children and young people within education, social and health services, community work and other diverse support work.
