Introduction:

This 100% online course is designed to provide participants with robust insights and skills for delivering innovation in higher education, bridging the gap between online and in-person teaching.

It is aimed at any professional engaged in higher education or supporting students.

The course will provide an applied pedagogical introduction to five teaching methods:

  1. Flipped Learning
  2. SCALE-UP (Student-Centred Active Learning Environment with Upside-down Pedagogies)
  3. Technology-Enhanced Learning (Blended learning)
  4. Team-Based Learning
  5. Innovative Curriculum Design.

We will focus on the use of these methods in both online and face-to-face learning environments, encouraging participants to adopt an active learning approach and embed these methods into the curriculum.
