To apply for a scholarship you need to complete the application form below and email it to international@ntu.ac.uk.

If your application for your chosen scholarship is not successful, we'll automatically consider it for any other scholarship you're eligible for.

Postgraduate scholarships

Postgraduate scholarships for international (non-EU) students January 2019

  • Postgraduate Masters Scholarships

    Open to: All international and EU postgraduate taught course offer holders for courses starting in January 2019.

    Amount: Usually 25% or 50% of tuition fee

    Awarded by: NTU Academic Schools

    Application deadlines:

  • International Scholarships

    Open to: All international postgraduate taught course offer holders for courses starting in January 2019.

    Amount: £2,000

    Application deadlines:

    Final deadline: Monday 12 November 2018 16:00 GMT (4 pm)

  • Vietnam Scholarship

    Open to: All  postgraduate taught course offer holders from Vietnam for courses starting in January 2019.

    Amount: £4,000

    Application deadlines:

    Monday 15 October 2018 16:00 GMT (4 pm)

    Final deadline: Monday 12 November 2018 16:00 GMT (4 pm)

  • Indonesia Scholarship

    Open to: All  postgraduate taught course offer holders from Indonesia for courses starting in January 2019.

    Amount: £4,000

    Application deadlines:

    Final deadline: Monday 12 November 2018 16:00 GMT (4 pm)

  • Egypt Scholarship

    Open to: All postgraduate taught course offer holders from Egypt for courses starting in January 2019.

    Amount: £4,000

  • Jordan Scholarship

    Open to: All postgraduate taught course offer holders from Jordan for courses starting in January 2019.

  • Turkey Scholarship

    Amount: £1,000

Postgraduate research funding

Public funding for postgraduate research is mainly provided by research councils who make awards directly to the University. Our Academic Schools also offer some research bursaries on a case by case basis.

Nottingham Trent International College Scholarship

If you're currently an NTIC student you're not eligible to apply for an NTU international scholarship.

If you achieve an average of 70% on your course and progress to an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at the University you can apply for the NTIC Distinction Scholarship.

The scholarship is £1,000 and you’ll be invited to the Scholarship Awards Evening to collect your award from the Vice-Chancellor.

There's also a discount available of £500 if you confirm your place at the University and pay at least £1,000 towards your fees by an agreed date.
