Entrepreneurship and New Venture Development
You will study this course at the Nottingham Business School, which is one of the top 5% of business schools in the world with an AASCB accreditation!

This interactive course enables you to appreciate the challenges involved in building and developing a virtual business using a business simulation software.
This course will provide you with an overview for developing a new venture. It will provide an insight into the nature and business environment of start-ups and promote thinking and critical analysis of developing a new venture and its operations. You will study this course at the Nottingham Business School, which is one of the top 5% of business schools in the world with an AASCB accreditation!
During your two-week course you will explore the context of enterprise creation and management, market analysis and positioning, and product/service introduction. You will also study operations planning, financial management and capital raise, marketing and sales, and internationalisation
At the end of the course you should be able to identify market opportunities and position a new business idea appropriately and synthesise the key business functions to explore a new business idea appropriately. You should also be able to apply managerial skills to design and support a new venture and develop your ability to evaluate and justify your own ideas, solutions to business problems and new business propositions and defend them against others.
You should have completed at least one year of undergraduate business course and wish to enhance your creativity and design thinking by combining techniques from the design, marketing and business professions. You should also have the required English language skills.
