Courses and requirements

We have over 25 courses to choose from. Courses are taught by experts in the subject and you will benefit from their knowledge and experience. As a TEF gold rated institution, you can be assured of our excellent quality teaching. You’ll also enjoy access to some outstanding facilities providing inspiring teaching spaces and industry-standard equipment.
Courses are arranged in two-week blocks. You can choose one course from either block or combine two courses from blocks one and two to create a three or four-week programme.
A typical 2-week course gives you 10 UK credits or 5 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) credits that you may be able to use towards your degree.
You'll receive an official NTU transcript and a Certificate of Completion after satisfactorily completing your course(s).
The courses are designed for international and UK students who have completed at least one year of undergraduate studies.

*This course is non-credit bearing. The one-week course is only available to students taking a Block two course or the ‘Design and Innovation in Business’ three-week course.
English language requirements
Our Summer School courses are delivered in English and so to be successful and get the most out of your experience you'll need to have a good proficiency in English.
Most courses require the equivalent of IELTS 6.0 but there are some exceptions so please do check our course descriptions.
We accept a variety of English Language qualifications. Check the table below or email us if you'd like to check your qualification.
