Business evaluation
Find guidance about the business evaluation process needed collaborative arrangements and periodic collaborative review.
Understanding business evaluation
Business evaluation is undertaken prior to commencing an academic approval or periodic review process. The Validation Service Business Evaluation Process flow is a useful primer which outlines the process for UK collaborations and partnerships.
Initial proposal
Prior to completing business evaluation for new provision you will need to obtain approval of your initial proposal from the University. To do this, please complete the initial proposal form and submit it via email to CADQ.
Please note, an initial proposal is not required for periodic collaborative review.
Business evaluation
Once your initial proposal has been approved you can commence the business evaluation process.
Please complete Section A of the Validation Service business evaluation form and submit via email to CADQ. The remainder of the template will be completed by the University.
For periodic collaborative review, complete the Validation Service review form and submit to CADQ by email.
Due diligence and financial evaluation is undertaken by the College Finance and Planning Manager and submitted along with the completed business evaluation template.
You will be notified of the outcome of business evaluation once it has been completed. Academic approval cannot take place until the business evaluation process has been completed. We would advise that you take this into account when planning timescales for development of new provision.
