There are two roles which support the delivery of NTU collaborations to ensure the operational oversight and the overall quality and standards of the provision, the Collaborative Academic Lead and Academic Liaison Tutor.

Collaborative Academic Lead

The role of the collaborative academic lead is to take responsibility for academic relationship management and to maintain oversight of the operation and quality of the collaboration. Please see collaborative academic lead requirements for full details.

  • Initial induction to the role
  • Annual development workshops
  • Information about periodic collaborative review

Academic Liaison Tutor

The role of the academic liaison tutor is to ensure that the academic standard, quality and student learning opportunities of Validation Service provision are maintained; and to act as a critical friend, providing advice and guidance to the course team.
