Futsal
Futsal is a fast-paced 5v5 sport which helped to develop the likes of Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Iniesta and Kevin De Bruyne. Futsal is one of the leading sports in South American countries, Spain and Portugal and is now being used in academy football to improve fast decision making and technique. Played indoors with plenty of skills and flair at an extremely fast pace, games are usually attack after attack.

Club Information
Our 1st team have managed to win 2 BUCS Premier titles over the past 3 seasons and now have both a men’s and a women’s team competing in their respective Premier divisions. The club now has a strong link with ProFutsal London who compete in the National Futsal Series (the top tier of futsal in the UK) as well as with SIMA Peligros FS (a professional team in Granada, Spain). Some of our players have gone on to earn full senior England caps and represent the country in FIFA Futsal World Cup games.
Coaching
Our head coach David Tapia-Owens (UEFA B candidate) has played futsal throughout his life in both Spain and England, alongside academy football. In Spain he played in the Andalusian league before moving to the UK where he went on to achieve numerous BUCS titles as a player at Loughborough University and a Grand Finals appearance with Oxford City. Our assistant Quentin Casey is the former NTU Futsal president and has gone on to start his own football and futsal analysis company whilst studying at NTU and now works with many non-league teams in the area. Together they have led the club to two BUCS Premier titles.
British Universities and Colleges Sports (BUCS)
The club has 4 men’s teams and 3 women’s teams, all competing in BUCS leagues, with our men’s and women’s 1st teams both in BUCS Premier.
