Melissa joined NTU in January 2017 as a Graduate Intern and currently works as an Industry Skills Manager. Melissa engages with employers to help organisations review their skills requirements and to support them in finding solutions via apprenticeships. Melissa assists with internal apprenticeships event planning, whilst also representing NTU at external events. Alongside this, Melissa is responsible for completing procurement applications to extend NTU’s apprenticeships provision and leads on an aspect of a University-wide apprenticeships project. Melissa works with the Apprenticeships Administrator to answer employer and apprentice enquiries. It is important within this role to spend some time in checking Apprenticeship policy and legislation updates, including the apprenticeship funding rules.
