Senior Lecturer and Course Leader, BSc (Hons) Planning and Property Development
Andrew is one of the university’s employability coordinators, representing the School of Architecture Design and the Built Environment. This role has been created in order to further enhance graduate employability across the university, a priority within the strategic plan.
Andrew works closely with academic colleagues, the careers and placement teams, the HIVE, employer organisations and across the university with all other employability coordinators.
Andrew retains an active teaching role within the School, with a live project module for final year students on the BSc (Hons) Planning and Development course.
Prior to Andrew's commencement at NTU he worked as a Chartered Surveyor in a range of organisations, including Savills and a part of the Kier Group. He has also worked for central and local government, enabling him to appreciate the wide range of career opportunities for graduates of NTU.
Andrew has recently been working with the RICS on the creation of professional guidance relating to the viability of property development. This guidance has now been published for all RICS members to utilise.
